When Packy was born in 1962, he made international headlines and set the Oregon Zoo on the path to becoming the world leader in elephant welfare and research that it is today! Join us for a celebration of Packy's birthday, see the exciting plans for Elephant Lands, have some birthday cake and sing to Packy. Free with zoo admission.
- Zoo gates open: 9 a.m.
- Party begins with kids activities at Elephant Plaza: 10 a.m.
- Cake is served to party-goers courtesy of Lamb's Wilsonville Market: 12 p.m.
- Parade Packy's cake from Elephant Plaza to the elephant exhibit: 1:45 p.m.
- Packy gets his cake, made by Chef: 2 p.m.
