The Great Northwest cold rush! winter break camp

Do something fun and educational at the zoo's Winter Break Camp. Each camp day includes games, songs, tours, stories, an animal encounter and fun activities. Children may attend one day, several days or all the days offered. Each camp day runs from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.

Students are grouped by ages: four year olds and kindergarteners; 1st graders; 2nd graders; and 3-4th graders.

The Great Northwest cold rush!

When the weather changes so do the lives of animals. Vist the glacier fed streams of the Northwest exhibit to discover how bald eagles, salmon and cougars survive the winter during our Great Northwest cold rush!

Cost and registration

Children may attend one or more days. Payment in full is due with registration. Zoo admission is included in the registration fee. Registration fees are refundable, minus a 10 percent administrative fee if cancellation is received five working days prior to the camp date.

Zoo members: $35 per child per day
Non-members: $38 per child per day

Early care is available: 8 to 9 a.m. for $5.
Late care is available: 4 to 6 p.m. for $10.
Pack a lunch or buy a sack lunch for $5 per day. Snacks are provided.
