Do something fun and educational at the zoo's Winter Break Camp. Each camp day includes games, songs, tours, stories, an animal encounter and fun activities. Children may attend one day, several days or all the days offered. Each camp day runs from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.
Students are grouped by ages: four year olds and kindergarteners; 1st graders; 2nd graders; and 3-4th graders.

South for the winter
Explore the wild wonders of South America! Take a trip down the warm waters of the Amazon to see which animals splash in rivers and which hide in tree tops. Then journey to the other side of the continent to see why some Peruvian penguins like it hot!
Cost and registration
Children may attend one or more days. Payment in full is due with registration. Zoo admission is included in the registration fee. Registration fees are refundable, minus a 10 percent administrative fee if cancellation is received five working days prior to the camp date.
Zoo members: $35 per child per day
Non-members: $38 per child per day
Early care is available: 8 to 9 a.m. for $5.
Late care is available: 4 to 6 p.m. for $10.
Pack a lunch or buy a sack lunch for $5 per day. Snacks are provided.
