Each thematic program consists of three classes that use dramatic play, movement, story, biofacts, animal habitats, and live animal interactions* to help our youngest explorers learn how to care for wildlife and their homes.
Critter Club: Safari adventure
Hop aboard our magic jeep as we travel to the African savannah in search of wildlife big and small. Over the three classes, touch a lion pelt, feed a giraffe, solve an animal mystery, cast animal tracks, and meet some African arthropods!
When: Saturdays, April 6, 20 and May 4, 9:15- 11:15a.m.
Age: Ages 3-5 with an adult
Cost: $60 for zoo members, $75 for non-members. $39 for additional child (One adult per child maximum. There must be a registered adult for every two children.)
Zoo admission beyond the class time is not included.
*Animal welfare is top priority at the Oregon Zoo. Given this, we are occasionally required to modify or cancel a scheduled live animal interaction to meet the needs of our animals. Thank you for your understanding.
