Join a naturalist for a summer stroll through the cool and shaded old growth forest. Ancient Douglas fir trees, stellar cedars, moss-covered maples, and a carpet of moss and lichen grace this land along the Sandy River.

Where: Oxbow Regional Park, 3010 SE Oxbow Pkwy, Gresham, OR 

Cost: $6/person, $11/ family. Vehicle charge at Oxbow: $5/ car, $7/ bus

Pets policy: To protect plants, wildlife and people, Metro does not allow pets at regional parks and natural areas. Pets can damage habitat and threaten wildlife the region has worked to protect. In natural areas where dogs are not allowed, people see more wildlife and get closer to it. Seeing-eye dogs or other service animals are allowed.
